The Griffin Brewery in Chiswick is a working site, brewing world famous award winning beers. Almost 400 people work at the brewery in the production and office environments. Beer has been brewed on Fuller’s Chiswick site for over 350 years – as far back as the era of Oliver Cromwell. The brewery itself is an historic listed building and is situated beautifully between the river Thames and the A4, close to Chiswick in West London.

Fuller’s owns and operates a collection of 200 beautiful pubs and hotels in great locations across the south of England including London, Hampshire, the New Forest and the Home Counties. All with a unique character and charm, serving fabulous fresh food and drink, we are one the South’s most premium pub operators – we were voted Best Managed Pub Company at The Publican Awards in 2018.  Our pubs and hotels are not branded concepts and each site enjoys a level of autonomy, allowing them to perfectly cater to the local customer base.  Our people are the most important part of our business – we recruit based on personality ahead of experience.

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to oversee the recruitment support function across the managed estate.  You will have overall responsibility for the recruitment of our pub teams, sourcing the very best General Managers and also assisting with the recruitment of more junior team members. You will lead the recruitment team, using your experience to coach and develop the Chef Recruitment Manager and Recruitment Administrator.  Acting as a strong ambassador for the company you’ll source candidates using a variety of recruitment techniques including extensive use of LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Working closely with the Operations, HR and Learning & Development teams you’ll proactively develop a recruitment strategy to recruit and develop a people pipeline at all levels. 

This role requires you to form close relationships with stakeholders across all parts of the business. You will manage the recruitment cycle from start to finish and spend the majority of your time out in our pubs and hotels, meeting candidates and supporting our management teams, so willingness to travel and a driving licence is essential.

About you;

  • Experience in a hospitality related Recruitment role
  • Proven track record of managing a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience designing, implementing and scaling the recruitment strategy
  • A passion for pubs and people
  • Experience reporting on all recruitment activity and presenting that information to stakeholders & the wider teams
  • Innovative and creative
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel
