Are you an Assistant Manager or experienced Supervisor/Team Leader looking for an exciting new challenge? We have an excellent Assistant Managers opportunity at the Fort St George, Cambridge.



The Fort St George is situated on Midsummer Common in Cambridge. It also has the luxury of the River Cam running alongside the pub therefore attracting many tourists & visitors to Cambridge. The Grade 2 listed building dates in part from the 16th Century. The unusual name for the pub, commonly abbreviated to just 'Fort St George' but now better known as the Fort reflects a supposed resemblance to the East India companies Fort St George at Madras India.

The pub has an external bar and BBQ area which serves 200 covers externally and a further 80 internal covers. Therefore, the business has a very seasonal trade.

Role & Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager with all aspects of the successful management of the business.
