The Business

The Druids Arms is situated in the centre of Maidstone Town which is a hive of activity all day every day with shoppers, locals, local workers, young circuit guest evenings and weekends. The druids arms is the place to be for live music at weekends and is a great place for speed of service for those quick pop in for lunch whilst at lunch from work. this is a small one bar operation business on the high street with a really big heart and our guests are passionate about our business and our love of cask ale and great food.

Average weekly turnover: £11,000
Split Wet/Food: 90/10
Live-In Manager’s Accommodation: 2 Bed flat split level

Role & Responsibilities

As a General Manager you will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the successful management of the business.

With the desire to excel, succeed and win, ideally you will have a clear understanding of high-street / late-night operations and how to drive sales and grow profit in this highly competitive environment. You will be energetic and focused, and able to adapt to the demands of both the food and entertainment elements of the business. With fantastic people skills you will have the ability to lead, motivate and develop your team and engage your customers. Upbeat, efficient customer service, high quality products and exceptional presentational standards are key, so you will need to be genuinely passionate about hospitality and customer service.
