The King Rufus is situated in the heart of Southampton. It is a beautiful semi rural pub restaurant with lots of character. Being part of the Eating Inn group, the site caters to many different groups and is perfect for a casual or formal dining experience.

Managers accommodation comprises of 1 - 2 bedrooms, separate kitchen, living room and bathroom.

What we are looking for

As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager with all aspects of the successful management of the business. With fantastic people and social skills, you will be able to build friendly, efficient and effective relationships with your customers and staff. With previous supervision or team-leader experience, you will be committed to motivating and developing a fantastic team. You will have a real enthusiasm for hospitality and will be customer-focused and passionate about delivering excellent service. With the ability to follow and maintain procedures you will be driven to ensure strong standards across the business. Ideally, you will also have an awareness of P&L and will be able to work to achieve budgets and targets. With a proactive and positive attitude, you will be excited about career progression and will be constantly looking for ways to develop both yourself and the business.
