(£16,777 to £19,166 per annum based on 39 hours per week)

An opportunity has arisen at the UK’s number one students’ union for an Assistant Outlet Manager.

The role

You will join an outlet management team within the social enterprise operations department. The operations department delivers an exciting and varied range of relevant retailing opportunities which focus on quality products and deliver an outstanding customer experience in line with our values.

Our outlets include busy bars, nightclubs, catering outlets and shops with a varied programme of events which means there’s always variety and excitement.

Initially working as part of a team within the late night bars and night club you will assist the Outlet Manager in the day to day running of the outlet. You will be leading teams of staff during busy, exciting shifts to deliver the best experience possible.

Standard full time hours are 39 per week but please note there will be a requirement to work longer hours during the university semesters and shorter hours during vacation periods.

Your skills and experience

You will have experience at a management or senior staff level in a catering or bar environment, including supervising teams. You will possess the ability to work with attention to detail and possess excellent organisational, time management and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure. You will be a self-motivated people person with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, teamwork and building relationships with a variety of stakeholders (students and staff).
