The Company -

My client is very well-known & highly respected independent British brewery who use traditional methods to brew their excellent beer, without additives or preservatives.

As a Free Trade Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for opening and growing strategic customer accounts within the free trade channel across East Anglia and develop strong relationships with existing customers.

To be considered for this position you MUST have an amazing personality, with lots of enthusiasm and passion for field sales, including a relentless hunter attitude to the way you approach the role.

THE ROLE

  • Manage existing accounts within the free trade channel and develop a pipeline of new business by generating your own leads
  • Cover a large patch including Northampton, Kettering, Peterborough, Norwich, Ipswich and Cambridge
  • Maximise sales to existing customers to achieve maximum profitability and revenue
  • Develop effective sales strategies to achieve set targets & KPI’s
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning
  • Work autonomously covering the whole of East Anglia
  • Be an ambassador for the company, attending trade shows & industry events
  • Effectively plan and manage the working day to ensure coverage is achieved at key trading times of customers. This will involve evening work

YOU

  • A real hunter, completely tenacious with a relentless work ethic
  • Currently working within a field based sales role
  • Persistent with a positive attitude, great personality and lots of enthusiasm
  • Excellent at generating own leads and driving sales through existing business
  • Willing to go the extra mile & exceed targets set
  • Great at building relationships quickly
  • 8 years’ experience in field sales essential
  • Good commercial business sense and the ability to work to budgets
  • Highly organised & self-motivated, with excellent negotiation skills
