A vacancy is available for a full time manager running a non- affiliated social club run as a Community Interest Company (CIC) for the benefit of the Community as a whole which is situated nearby to excellent transport links. Membership currently stands at 740 and annual turnover is c £260 k p.a.
As Contract Club Manager you will possess a dynamic mixture of managerial and leadership skills, together with organisational abilities in the field of bar management, customer service and entertainment.
This role is particularly "hands-on" and you will be expected to take full control of the Club's day-to-day operations, with responsibility for staff, stock, special functions and event promotion. You will be responsible and accountable to a small Board of Directors.
The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in all aspects of quality service and hospitality, and they will have to demonstrate a track record of maximising sales opportunities and increasing revenue streams.
A competitive package will be offered to the right candidate, which will comprise of a salary, plus a bonus based on improved sales levels, and a further bonus depending upon fulfilling the Club’s wider community aims and objectives.
This role will suit an individual who is organised, confident and who is willing to become a part of the wider local community. Prior experience in a Club environment is useful but not essential, provided you can show the right skills and attitude for this position.
