About the General Manager Role

About the Pub

The Cock Pub dates back to 1563, and was a former Coaching Inn back then. Located just off the market square in Hitchin, with plenty of old world charm.

Beautiful high street business, with a chameleon clientele. Breakfast is very popular in the Cock, we serve
breakfast from 10am Monday to Saturday

Day time you have your locals enjoying a early afternoon drinks with friends. Workmen in the early afternoon, evening. Evenings is more for diners that enjoy good pub grub. Weekends you have your day trade from customers doing a bit of shopping and the younger generation coming out for the evening. With entertainment on a Saturday evenings.

This is a sports venue with Sky sports recently installed, it became the only pub in Hitchin with sky sports.
