It does, however, have two public houses and a restaurant, and it is only a short distance from Maidenhead town centre and railway station. Pinkney's Green Common is frequented by dog-walkers at all hours of the day from across the area.

There is a £25k contribution from Greene King to support any alteration works that are required to re-decorate or extend the pub. The name can also be changed back to the original name of The Robin Hood.
