This beautiful country pub needs a new General Manager! Located in Old Chesham, a bustling market town in the Chilterns, the Queens Head is very much the centre of the local community, providing the warmest hospitality, best beers and a great Thai food offer. Chesham itself is the perfect commuter town with great transport links in to London via the Metropolitan underground line and local road networks. The building itself oozes charm with a super cosy tap bar, lounge bar and restaurant all of which are serviced from the central bar. Low ceilings, original wooden beams, open fires and a really pretty courtyard garden complete the pub, making it a perfect spot to relax all year round.

The Queen’s Head operates a popular Thai food franchise and as General Manager you will need to build a great relationship with the franchisee ensuring that you both work together to ensure that the customer experience is spot on and both wet and dry sales are maximised. The local community is key to the success of the business, so getting to know the regular customers is vital and you should also look beyond the immediate surroundings to grow the business further. Numerous local business and organisations also offer a further opportunity to create new trade and there is scope to grow the business with the expansion of the events calendar. The General Manager will integrate fully with the local community, getting really involved in everything that is going on in the area, as well as running a host of events throughout the year.
