One of the coolest pubs in the Fuller’s estate; The Grand Central in Brighton is on the hunt for a new General Manager.

Conveniently located next to Brighton Railway Station, the Grand Central was extensively refurbished in 2015, restoring it to its pre-war glory. Not only do we have the large and welcoming main bar downstairs, but upstairs the Nightingale Room boasts one of Brighton’s most vibrant and top quality entertainment calendars. From jazz to comedy, cabaret to world premiere plays, you’ll discover a wide range of events catering for every taste. This intimate venue has its own specialist gin bar raising the quality of the gin and tonic offer to a height not seen in Brighton before. Cosy log fires in winter and one of Brighton’s best suntrap roof terraces in summer, the pub is popular all year round. The Grand Central serves up some of the best pub food in Brighton. The mouth-watering menu is reminiscent of American diner-fare, with a choice of burgers, ribs and steaks alongside more traditional pub dishes. A wide and varied selection of craft beers, wines and spirits caters for the eclectic tastes of the Brighton customer demographic.

The General Manager of the Grand Central needs to be the face of the business. Building relationships with local customers, commuters and businesses is essential to the pubs continued success. Competition is fierce in Brighton and to make sure we stay one step ahead, the offer needs to be kept unique, fresh and exciting. The ideal candidate will be creative, adaptable and come with experience of managing a lively venue with a quality food and beverage offer. Previous experience in the local area would be advantageous.

This is a complex business and perfect for an experienced General Manager looking for their next challenge in one of the South Coasts loveliest places to live. This is a live in opportunity.
