GENERAL MANAGER DESIGNATE – MIDDLESEX/SURREY BORDERS – PACKAGE UP TO 42K (SALARY + BONUS + TIPS) - QUALITY INDEPENDENT GASTROPUB GROUP – A CHANCE TO GROW YOUR CAREER IN THIS WELL RESPECTED AND EXPANDING GROUP
I’m looking to speak to experienced deputy mangers/ new general managers for an exciting small gastropub company with sites across Middlesex and Surrey as they look to take on a general manager designate, with the aim of becoming a fully-fledged GM in the coming months as the group carries out its expansion plans.
Paramount to this role is the ability to drive, and be flexible, as part of your training/induction within the company on your voyage to general manager, you will move across the groups sites, to learn the ropes and discover where you best fit.
This group is renowned for quality fresh food in beautiful surroundings with a group of pubs across Surrey and Middlesex. The good quality pub food is matched by excellent service, with a focus on ensuring the locals coming in for drinks get the personal touch, whilst visitors have a memorable experience also. The pubs all include a full service restaurant element complimented by a lively informal drinks/bar area.
The ideal general manager designate will have their eyes firmly set on becoming a GM in the near future – this is essential. You’ll have an excellent knowledge of financials, have experience in ordering, recruitment and training and be a real personality who loves to interact with guests and lead from the front.
Furthermore you’ll have experience managing very busy sites, ideally with weekly trades of 30K +.
In return for your efforts you’ll be paid an excellent package of Up to 42K (this is comprised of salary + bonus + tips – which can be discussed on application) and a variety of benefits.
