Salary: £21,136 - £23,933

Hours: 35 per week annualised over 52 weeks

Based on a campus set in 135 acres of parkland in Egham, Surrey, the Students’ Union is a student-led organisation that represents all students at Royal Holloway University.

Students are at the heart of what we do, with our focus on improving their education, making campus fun, looking after their wellbeing, making them more employable, and ultimately empowering them to change the world around them.

We continue to develop and grow, making sure that campus is a fun place to be with over 400 events taking place last year.

We have three venues including a 1400 capacity nightclub alongside smaller 800 and 250 capacity bars, and that takes a lot of work. We are now investing in a new permanent role of Assistant Venue Operations Manager to assist our Venue Operations Manager (Events & Entertainment) to develop the events we offer.

You will be an experienced supervisor (catering, bars or hospitality) looking to move into a management role where you will offer hands on management in our venues. You have strong communication skills and remain calm under pressure, you will provide operational support at all our events, while line managing and continually developing our student staff team.
