A great opportunity has arisen to be the new General Manager at The Red Lion in Wendover.

Set in the village of Wendover near Aylesbury, The Red Lion is the perfect Home Counties traditional coaching inn. Whether your visit is for business or a weekend break, with 23 beautiful bedrooms, pub, restaurant and function room, this complex business caters for all.

Just 45 minutes from London and with the ambition to develop one of the area's finest dining experiences, The Red Lion offers excellent range of beers, wine and warm hospitality.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager who is self-starting, passionate and driven. Equally important, the successful candidate will be expected to integrate into village life and form links with the local business community.

The future leader at The Red Lion will be instrumental in influencing further development and investment in the business, therefore both short and long term business vision is essential.

This is a live-in role with a one bedroom flat.

  • You’ll be great at leading a team
  • You should be highly motivated and commercially focused
  • You’ll need to be a great communicator
  • You should have previous management experience
