Facilities Operations Manager - London/Kent

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join their growing Facilities and Building Maintenance Service Provider. This an opportunity for a real leader who will be responsible for growing the Reactive Maintenance and PPM side of the business.

Role

  • Direct management of a team of maintenance engineers; hiring, disciplinaries and dismissals.

  • Approval of all works minor and major, ensuring completion to a suitable standard and supervising when required.

  • Presenting a helpful and informed face to the client; promptly dealing with complaints as well as managing expectations.

  • As Operations Manager you will be delivering a range of facilities services including PPM and reactive maintenance along with a range of integrated FM services.

  • The main objective is Client and Customer satisfaction through the delivery of exemplary facilities services and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

  • You will ensure systems are in place to ensure budget controls are being adhered to

  • Experience managing and growing division of £3mill++

  • Substantial experience as a Regional/Operations Manager in Facilities Management Services

  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical and electrical or other Facilities management disciplines

  • Demonstrable experience of Health & Safety management (IOSH or NEBOSH desirable).

  • Must have worked in reactive maintenance PPM

  • Experience in commercial & public sector is preferred
