The food is traditional pub food with a modern twist and seasonal menus, and traditional favourites. All dishes are made fresh on site using local suppliers and award winning producers.
The pub is part of a leading local brewery and menus work from a core company menu bank.
As Head Chef you will take full accountability for all areas of the kitchen and deliver an efficient and profitable operation in line with company standards.
You will train and motivate your team, ensure high consistent standards, work to budgets and P&L, adhere to all legislation etc.
Candidates must have good experience and skills in work with fresh food. You will be a Head Chef currently or a very experienced Sous Chef. You must have good communication skills and the ability to nurture and develop a team. You will have the ability to work within company guidelines and to ensure the delivery of a great product.
