Head Chef wanted for a busy fresh food destination pub, beautiful riverside location
Food is served lunch and dinner, and is popular with both locals and tourists alike. They focus on great pub food done well, everything is prepared freshly on site.
This venue is part of a leading brewery, offering great support functions along with excellent training and career opportunities.
We are looking for a strong kitchen manager who will take full responsibility for stocks, orders, quality and consistency, staff training and management, Health and Hygiene, legislation issues and controlling food GP and managing budgets.
It will be a mix of split and straight shifts, but as Head Chef you will be in control of the rotas. After probationary period the company offers a variety of incentives, a good bonus structure and great company benefits. Basic salary up to 30k.
Previous experience in managing kitchen operations is essential along with the ability to work with fresh food. You must be able to manage your own team and take responsibility for all aspects of the kitchen. Head Chef experience is required for this busy venue.
Live in can be provided at a small cost but would not be on site so your own transport is essential to be considered for this role.
