Head Chef wanted for a popular coaching inn and pub at the heart of a busy market town. A historic building that has been beautifully resorted, retaining old charm with modern style.
The menu is a mix of great pub classics and modern Mediterranean style dining, all made freshly on the premises daily. The open for breakfast lunch and dinner and have a great local following both for the welcoming bar and great food offering.
The pub is part of a leading local brewery and menus work from a core company menu bank, but with a good level of individuality for each pub. They use award winning and local suppliers and place a huge emphasis on delivering a fantastic food operation.
As Head Chef you will take full accountability for all areas of the kitchen and deliver an efficient and profitable operation in line with company standards.
You will train and motivate your team, ensure high consistent standards, work to budgets and P&L, adhere to all legislation etc.
Candidates must have good experience and skills in work with fresh food. You will be a Head Chef currently or a very experienced Sous Chef. You must have good communication skills and the ability to nurture and develop a team. You will have the ability to work within company guidelines and to ensure the delivery of a great product.
