A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Sous Chef to support the team at one of North London’s most popular destination gastropubs.
This gastropub prides themselves on providing craft ales and specially crafted cocktails within a relaxed and laid-back environment, whilst serving a seasonal menu that changes regularly.
Meat is sourced from the best farms in the UK and is butchered on-site, so it’s the perfect opportunity for a creative and hardworking Jnr Sous/Sous Chef who wants the opportunity to expand their skill set in learning how to butcher whole animals, as well as getting involved with menu development.
Their ideal Sous Chef should:
- Have steady experience working at Sous Chef level within a busy high end, fresh food based restaurant/gastro pub
- Positive, motivated, “can do” attitude with a desire to learn
- Strong knowledge of health & hygiene practices, and able to train and coach junior members of staff
They are offering a competitive salary around £35,000 dependent on experience, a fantastic working environment, and the opportunity to develop your butchery skills at one of London’s highest rated local restaurants/gastro pubs.
